Daily misery

It still amazes me how a simple story about 6 people from a dysfunctional family riding a yellow mini bus can end up giving me one of the most enjoyable movie experience ever. I laughed so hard for so long that the tears wouldn’t stop flowing out of my eyes. Most indie movies are dark and tackle serious topics. This one is a ridiculously funny comedy that takes on the simplest form of our daily live crisis - family issues.

If you are planning to watch this , I hope you will enjoy yourself as much as I did yesterday.

If you dream to become an illustrator (secretly, I have always wanted to be one) or cartoonist or comic artist, you can’t miss the Flight collection. I was so impressed with Flight 3 I ended up ordering Flight Vol 1 and 2 from Amazon. It is a collection of short stories narrated by wonderful art works from professional artists to still-in-college students.

My favorite so far are pieces from Chris Appelhans (Vol 1) and Jen Wang (vol 2).

Flight makes you float in the sky and recaptures what it was like to play around with dreams and tales.
