Supposedly Clean
Supposedly Clean, a Wordpress theme is ready to ship today. Here’s a short list of its features.
- Easily customizable through admin panel. You can change text colors, link colors, sidebar text colors and etc.
- Comes with three different flavors
- Tested in Firefox, IE 6.0+, Opera and Safari
- Validates as xhtml 1.0 strict
- Only 3 images.
And here are some screenshots.
When I first did a rough sketch of the mockup, I wanted this theme to be as easy to customize as possible for the users. We wouldn’t want another ‘kubrick’ effect in the Wordpress-sphere. At least to the minimum extend where users will be able to change the placing of the sidebar, colors of the text and links or better yet, the whole color scheme. This theme will always be under active development, I hope. So please feel free to comment on this post if you have any feature requests or questions.
One thing though, I will try not to bundle plugins with Supposedly Clean because it gives users a lot of problem when it comes to upgrading plugins and Wordpress. When bundled plugins fail, themes tend to bork as well. It is of the best interest for both the developers and users, in my humble opinion, to separate themes and plugins as different Wordpress’s extension. If there’s an overwhelming request for a particular plugin, I might incorporate it ^_^.
Also, special thanks to Ozh for the wonderful admin toolkit and Danny for the excellent testing and feedbacks. The css classes and IDs have also been named with some of Wordpress core developers name as a token of my appreciation for this wonderful application.
I hope you like it.
