Random stories of my life

Man this year’s Oscar is killing me - I don’t know which movie I want to see winning the Best Motion Picture award. Of the worthy list, I’ve watched three of them - Crash, Munich and Brokeback Mountain. They are all really good, provoking, and passionate and actually talk about stuff that matters. I don’t know….I really wish all of them can win THAT BIG ONE together. I came across this one site once that offers to laser cut pure gold brick into whatever freaking shape and size one could imagine for a nominal fee. Just a thought.

But I guess if I really have to choose one, I’m gonna go with Crash - the screenplay is just awesome (it is brought to you by the same guy that wrote Million Dollars Baby) and I wrote about the movie even before I watched it, right after I watched it and now many months after I watched it. I am however somewhat dissappointed that The Constant Gardener is not among the nominees for this award. It is a life-changing movie and deserves all the credits due.

Somewhere within the flickr world, people said he looks like an elf, or half-elf. But it really doesn’t matter cuz this kid is so damn cute. I mean just take a look at his hair! Someone please marry me and together we can have cute children like that. My genes guarantee we can at least get his nose and eyes.

Lately I’ve been so tired that I slept like a pig every night. I would wake up in the morning and felt like I didn’t sleep at all for the entire night. It was literally like I close my eyes then BANG! it’s already the next morning. Not sure whether that’s a good thing but I am starting to miss that occasional sweet dreams of me having bubble bath with Rachel Mcadams (you know one of those where the water surface is covered with rose and orchid petals, and Mozart’s playing at the background.), or those dreams where Huinee appears in which, needless to say, are categorized as something one would call ‘nightmares’.

Lastly, how about closing this boring post with a ‘funny quote for the day’?

I love being married. It’s so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.
