Geek’s cooking lesson 1
Joleyn and I had came to this conclusion that in near future, I will stay home to code and cook while she goes outside and makes a decent wage to support my cocaine addiction. It is sad that thing has to come this way.
Cooking is very much like coding. Everything has to be structured and clean. They dont call it spaghetti codes or salad APIs for no reasons. You have to test your cooking before you serve it to your precious one. This is a very vital step or else you will end up with a bunch of run time errors, exceptions, memory leaks, buffer overflows….uhm, I mean serving bad food to him/her will only forces her to put on that awkward smile and say ‘its good’ while swallowing (note: not eating) your junk.
So on Monday, I cooked this yummy looking, saucy pork chop with salad and rice for both of us. Here’s the interesting part - I marinated the meat with coconut juice, bean curb, steak sauce, oyster sauce, unknown browny powder, sugar, sesame oil, Korean chili sauce, fried garlic, raw garlic, wasabi and water. Its a miracle no one got hurt.

Then on Tuesday (this is a new record for me, I’ve never cooked for a girl for two consecutive days!), I prepared this mouth watering Japanese noodle with no wasabi. This time only the right amount of ingredient was applied and we both sucked it sparkling clean while enjoying the last episode of Friends.

What?! What do you mean it doesnt look like Japanese?
